Its been a while since I last babbled some rubbish here. Bukan apa, asik kerjaaaa je, kerja, kerja, kerja.. tak abis-abis. Social life merudum habis-habisan. No one else I see when I step out of my house other than my work colleagues (and of course motorists, the patients, etc).. tak sempat jumpa member-member. As far as I remember I've been working weekends like forever, termasuk la minggu ni & minggu depan.. bleh! My life is basically kerja & spending time with hubby. Macam terbantut plak menda yg sepatutnye aku buat dulu iaitu... register myself to the ACEM college AND beli tix balik M'sia!

Anyways, tak nak bebel byk2 pasal tu, or about study. It will only make me more depressed & miserable.

The other night, we went out for dinner kat Southland Westfield Mall. Lepas tu singgah jap kat Harris Scarfe & terjumpa this turbo convection oven on sale. I've been wanting a new oven for sooo long now considering that our oven is sooo crap & useless. (That's the main reason why I dont bake or grill or roast or making any dessert.. walaupon rasa diri ni mcm berbakat jugak :P). Aku nak yg cam TTM punye, tapi hubby suka yg ni (coz terpengaruh TV shopping advert).
Oh well, yg ni pon jadi la. Walaupon kecik & kena masak in batches if I'm thinking of making lots, yg penting dah ada oven. So boleh la bake, grill, roast and also blaja bake dessert yg aku suka.. YES!! Hubby & I dont really like dessert that much, other than fresh fruits.. but it seems like its gonna change. Nampaknye lepas ni kena senaman lebih sket la since dah ada Mr. Turbo ni. Hehehehehe.

Singer Turbo Convection Oven

Buat ANZAC biscuits, atas permintaan hubby. And brownie, atas permintaan nafsu chocolate aku. Hubby plak dah siap marinate some lamb chops utk dinner esok. Yaahooo...

ANZAC biscuits, jadi tapi rupa kureng jadi =P

Ni resepi nyer atas permintaan member2: (sourced from Taste.com.au)

ANZAC Biscuits:

• 1 cup (150g) plain flour
• 1 cup (90g) rolled oats (I used yg Quacker oat biasa tu)
  
• 1 cup (85g) desiccated coconut
• 3/4 cup (155g) brown sugar (I used normal white sugar, 1/2 cup, coz my sugar is super sweet already)
  
• 125g butter
• 2 tbs golden syrup (I used honey)
  
• 1 tsp bicarbonate of soda

- Preheat oven to 160°c (140°c for fan-forced oven). Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Cairkan butter with golden syrup, over medium heat. Then add soda bicarb to this mixture.
- Mix sifted flour with sugar, oats & desiccated coconut.
- Then add the melted butter + golden syrup + soda bicarb mixture. Mix properly. (Masa ni kalau nak masukkan serbuk koko ke, perisa rose ke, perisa vanila etc, sila la buat now).
- Buat bulat2 & penyet2kan dgn garpu (kasi bergaya sket). Letak atas baking tray.
- Bake for 10minutes or until golden brown.
- Note: the biscuits will be super soft, seakan-akan cair bila baru masak. They will harden once they are cool. Hasilnye sangat sedap.

Warm autumn =)

It's autumn now, soon we'll see winter coming up. It was kinda cold early autumn hari tu, its like autumn datang awal sket, just like the summer arrived early last year. But for the past week, its been the warmest autumn ever in so many years. Warm yg sedap. Alhamdulillah. Aku memang tak suka sejuk beku ni.. mcm biasa la, sure rasa depressed manjang, especially cahaya matahari is very limited now.

I worked a.m. shifts the weekends that hv just passed. Masa drive pagi2 tu, alhamdulillah the road wasnt as busy & the sun was just up. Bahagia je gitu. On Saturday I made the effort to have my break outside, kat ambulance bay situ coz ada sunlight & its warm. Terasa tenang & bahagia je. I also pushed for the blinds to be pulled up so that matahari bleh masuk, takde la terasa daunting je. Semalam tak sempat lepak kat luar utk break but had many breaks in between cases so kira ok la. I think I did a good job generally nonetheless terasa nyampah nak dtg kerja on weekends (coz hubby tak kerja).
Balik kerja je dah about maghrib time, meaning dah gelap la. Depressing sungguh. Soon, pegi kerja before cerah & balik kerja dah gelap (kalau kerja pagi).

I was practicing to work nights (again) for tonight. Mlm tadi tido dlm kol 9pm & bgn around 2++am. Letih kerja pagi tu tak abis lagi. Tapi paksa diri gak utk berjaga. Ingat nak study but I ended up playing my fav game.. apa lagi kalau bukan Restaurant City on FB (hehehehheeh). Tido balik ~8am. Bangun bangun je aku terus keluar tgk laundry dah kering ke belum, & amik kesempatan berjemur kejap kat depat postbox tu without any sunblock. To help with my vitamin D production (tak nak kena osteoporosis).
Oh, aku juge mengambil kesempatan nak ganti puasa since I'll be back in bed after 8a.m. utk tido coz kerja mlm ni. Ye la, bila lagi kan nak ganti puasa if not now, since maghrib pon dah awal ~545pm (agak-agak) & aku pon byk kerja mlm & arvo shifts this coming 2 wks. My aim is to cover everything quick so that later on tak terasa merana, especially nanti I'll be doing anaesthetics in July/August/Sept... time puasa Ramadhan tuh!

These are the gambar2 that I've been wanting to post up here masa brisk walking dgn hubby suatu petang minggu hari tu. Brisk walking kat tpt yg sama je coz tpt sini terasa sgt membahagiakan. Takde la brisk walking sgt, sebab bwk camera kan =P Now cuaca lebih kurang nyaman cam gini, cuma takde masa nak gi jalan2 coz of working hours of both of us, unless me or him gi jalan2 sorang2 despite the others kerja.

Stagnant. for a moment

Okay, as much as I want to update my "happening" life, I'm going nuts here. Otak berserabut thinking (and actually doing) things, mostly kerja/exams. In the meantime trying to stay fit + healthy coz I remember I was reaaaally sick around this time of the year last.

I am breathing slowly, so hopefully everything goes smoothly & nicely.

Dah la kena kerja esok pagi at 8am. Entah apa-apa. Again... sapa-sapa bising aku slow, siap laaa... aku cepuk nanti.. grrr!

Didnt get to eat at work so bila balik kebuluran.

And oh.. tak berjaya nak berjaga 24hrs semalam.. dah pengsan just about 1/2hr before the record broken :(

Siot je aku kena panggil gi kerja hari ni, afta barely recovering from night shift. Dah la berjaga sejak kol 3++ pagi, thanks to the bunyi-bunyian yg macam tongkang tak sudah.. sheeshhh...
Bengang sungguh aku coz tak dpt gi jumpa TTM & budak-budak tu, plus tak dpt study malam nanti (memang aku dah plan nak study malam ni).
Grr.. grumpy ni.. tak cukup tido + lapar.. and I HATE ONCALLS!!
Hmm... abih la aku kat spital nanti ngantuk & lembap abis.. kalau sapa-sapa nak marah pasal aku ngantuk/ slow siap la nanti.. (unless kalau boss yg tegur kan.. kena la hangguk-hangguk je "yes, boss, yes boss", tak pon nyamar tegap lagi macho... hehehehehe)

On the brighter side.. bleh la aku gi ngutip cawan aku yg tertinggal kat spital masa night shift smlm. Bleh...

Hmm.. kenyangnye perut makan laksa tonite.

Semalam ingat nak citer terus pasal our trip to Sorrento-Queenscliff lepas balik tu. Tapi was soooooo tired plus vertigo, mebbie from the mabuk ferri tu. Sepatutnye praktis utk kerja mlm today, tapi apakan daya.

It was the long weekend, everyone was going away to somewhere. Kami plak, kinda susah nak plan apa2 coz of my timetable yg random & jarang dapat weekends. So this time just spontaneous plan to Sorrento-Queenscliff.

We woke up very early yesterdat so that we could leave home by 7am to catch the 9am ferry. Very nice weather that morning. Sampai kat Sorrento kereta tak banyak, ferry pon tak penuh. Best je. Sejuk sket even the lovely sun is shining.. Ferry tu goyang2 & I was feeling dizzy all the way through. Ada pakcik kat ferry tu ingatkan kami sedang honeymooning & beria-ia cerita pasal sejarah, tempat-tempat menarik kat seberang sana, etc, siap amikkan gambar kami berdua lagi. Hehehee..

Sampai seberang sana, everything was kinda quite coz still pagi lagi. Went to the info desk. Dengar2 dp org yg tanya nak gi Great Ocean Road, about 4 1/2hrs non-stop to the Twelve Apostles from Queenscliff. Since its still early I was like.. hmmm... best gak gi Great Ocean Road, or gi Geelong Safari ke, whatever yg kinda menarik since we were already on the other side of Victoria kan.. (magic... kejap the south-eastern, then now kat western Vic). We went to the beach instead hampir2 dgn lighthouse. Ingat nak gi ke tempat historical kat situ, tapi tutup. Takpe lain kali. Jalan-jalan kat laut tu best. Menenangkan. Ada org yg fishing, ada yg berenang. Tak ramai org. Ada satu family jalan2 kat situ, we thought that the kids were looking for seashells.. rupenye diorang kutip kaca pecah. Atok diorang kata tpt tu dah jadi National Park, so takleh kutip kulit siput. Banyak starfish & seaweed around, kinda geli jugak.

We spent a few hours jalan-jalan & amik gambar. Had lunch kat park nearby, had the freshes fish & chips kat situ (ye la apa je lagi yg bleh makan... my dearest hubby tertinggal our mushroom pies kat dapur pagi tadi). Masa makan kami kinda kebuntuan nak buat apa. Malas nak tunggu museum bukak in the arvo, malas nak jalan jauh-jauh jugak since mostly tutup coz of Easter Sunday. So we decided to go back to the Queenscliff jetty & tower. Lovely place. Seb baik tower tu bukak. Ada lift, tapi hubby kata baik naik tangga to burn the minyak2 chips tadi. Hahahah.. yup, kami pon naik, lenguh gila kaki. Actually it wasnt too bad tapi pasal aku gayat so aku naik atas closest to the medial wall. Takut, seram, pening, vertigo pun ada. Tangan aku tercalar sket kena dinding batu tu. Lega bila dah sampai kat atas. Tangkap2 gambar sket then turun balik thru tangga. Oh, ada this nice restaurant kat tower tu, kalau tau tadi bleh pegi. Takpe next time.

We then rushed to the jetty coz nak catch the 1pm ferry. Tercetus idea nak gi Sunny Ridge to get the lovely jams there and also to have coffee rehat2 kat situ. Masa sampai kat jetty tu punye la ramai manusia & kereta. Ada satu tour bus gergasi naik skali. Ferry pun penuh. Parking kat dlm perut ferry pon rapat-rapat je, with the tour bus kat depan skali. Satu kereta yg park kat sebelah kami tu, full of huds, main bukak je pintu, seb baik tak kena kereta aku. Aku & hubby pandang je diorang sambil makan chips sampai diorang semua keluar dari kereta mereka. Diorang pon cam seram je tengok kitorang pandang diorang semacam. Bagusla, diorang lebih berhati-hati. Aku dah ready dah, kalau kena kereta aku siap la diorang. Kami org last skali utk naik ke atas deck. Semua pasal kereta.

Masa dah nak sampai pun aku & hubby rushed to the car so that kalau apa2 jadi kat kereta kami masa those huds masuk kereta, senang kami ada to witness. Aku awal2 lagi dah amik gambar kereta tu.. hehhehe.. again masa diorang sampai aku & hubby usha diorang, I kno diorang tak selesa kami buat cam tu. Oh well, my car, kena la jaga lebih sket.

Bila dah sampai, bus tu plak buat hal. Dia mati plak. So the left wing takleh kuar. Abih. But the right wing yg ada elevated parking space tu bleh kuar coz the big bus didnt block their way. So diorang kuar slow-slow until satu row tu kosong. Then satu kereta kat row kiri & blakang skali bijak sungguh kuar perlahan-lahan lalu thru the tiang2 across the right wing. And the rest of the left wing cars, macam puzzle plak. Satu2 reversed their cars then out we went, tinggal bas tu je. Best, macam puzzle. Ingat nak stop at nearby info centre to get a fridge magnet, tapi disebabkan seronok sgt peristiwa ferry tu maka kami terlupala.

Went up the hill to Sunny Ridge through Arthur's Seat. Nak stop kat multiple view points e.g. Franklin Point, etc tapi ramai gila org. Aku rasa aku memang takkan naik atas thru this route coz gayat semacam, the road is soooo steep. Went straight to Sunny Ridge. Aiyooohh.. ramai gila orang. So we grabbed some jars of their jams: boysenberry, blueberry, strawberry. Also some strawberry sparkling non-alcoholic drink & strawberry syrup. Tak pegi petik strawberry coz ramai nak mati manusia. Sempat la ngap ice cream with small latte. Sedap.

Sampai rumah dah petang, I was thinking of staying up coz hari ni kerja malam. Tapi tu la, penat gila. I'm soooo glad we did this yesterday, it was definitely a lovely trip. Great weather, great things to see. Next time bleh buat lagi with other people jugak if their timetable & space permit.

Well, jap lagi nak gi siap-siap for work.
