Seronok sangat hari ni dapat my own breadmaker yg diidam-idamkan selama ni.

Kecik je ni. Jadilah kan, aku pon bukan rajin beno.
Dah tu dapur pon cinonet je =P.

Petang tadi EOFYS preview kat Myer utk Myer One members kat Chadstone Mall. Aku pegi to get this & also mum's kettle. I used the birthday Myer voucher + another Myer voucher to pay for both, campur dgn the good 30% sale for the breadmaker & 40% for the kettle, memang puas hati. (Ni la dikatakan pembeli bijak eh? Beli benda-benda 'perlu' sahaja kan.. kekkekekekeke). We saved ~56% of the total price for both of the items. Best.. sangat best!
Ni yg tak sabar nak buat roti ni. Yes! YES!!!

Balik dp beli barang2 keperluan tadi & right after dinner, kami dok study how to use my old slow cooker, the pressure cooker (yg dpt hadiah kahwin 2yrs ago tapi tak pernah guna), the Mr. Turbo & the new breadmaker.

Hadiah kahwin 2thn dulu. Nak kena start guna ni.

Waaaahhh bestnyeeee. Di saat-saat ini aku merasakan alangkah bahagianye hidup ini kalau aku jadi housewife...
... create great & healthy food for family & friends... alangkah bahagianyaaa...

Tetiba hubby melepuk dahi aku suruh aku lap air liur yg dah meleleh masa baca resepi roti yg datang skali dgn breadmaker tu & berhenti berangan-angan.. (kacau betul dia ni).

TTM, bleh la kita buat project food lepas ni ye :D Sronoknye sayaaaaa...

Winter

1st June 2010.
Winter has come, as p calendar. Believe it or not, its my 10th winter here in Melbourne. 10th!!
The weather has been kinda good for a winter in the past few days. Sunny during the day & slightly chilly during the dark (or is it me who has finally gotten used to Ms. Winter!!).
Aku still tak suka winter or any cold weather at all.. hehehehhe.

Pokok2 depan rumah. Pokok2 kebal belum brownish lagi coz during autumn
we received delightfully lotsa rain + sunlight.
Ada jugak yg dah togel tu.

Daun ni dah keperangan sket. Tak tau la bila dia gugur.
Last year cepat je dah botak. Tahun ni kebal kot.

Anyhow, this is the time of the year where semua org sibuk either shopping or pulling their hair off their heads.

Its 'End Of Financial Year Sale' time, massive shopping sana-sini around Australia membuatkan some people are easily misled about the savings they'll get if they go shopping around this time of the year. In my opinion, most of the stuff on sale are kinda crap & stock yg lama-lama punya. Ada yg bagus, if u really need them. And most of the offers these past few years kinda tak berbaloi dengan quality barang2 ni, and most people know that barang2 kat Aussie ni kalau ikut kualiti memang mahal nak mampos berbanding dgn barang2 kat tempat lain. Despite all these reasons, kadang2 aku kecundang jugak nak blanja itu-ini & selalunye aku tak kisah dgn kualiti.. hahahaha..
Well, now aku dah bijak sket. Aku shopping utk kepuasan sendiri kat M'sia je & on rare occasions kat sini.. itupon kalau 'perlu' je.. hehehehhehe.

Okay, tu bab shopping. Ni bab end of financial year plak. Masa ni la time kena renew pelbagai registration especially the docs & those in health care. Macam-macam, AMA la, journal la, training college la, etc. Jugak masa penuh cabaran nak kutip & kumpul balik aaall the relevant receipts coz starting 1st of July until 31st Oct of each year ialah time utk file tax return. Aku serious menyampah time ni. Sakit otak. Buat thru online kinda senang tak yah susah2 nak jumpa accountant (takyah kuar duit, even though tax deductable), tapi online programme tu punye la pening. Bukan itu saja. Ni la masanye tukar rotations, meaning assessment by the bosses. Also time apply utk kerja next year, utk training, blablabla hal kerja. Sakit otak sungguh.
Tunggu je la bulan-bulan depan aku jadi bengong pasal menda-menda ni sumer.. just like the years before, every single year...

Aku ni tengah pening utk cari org cover aku on the 14th June in ED. Aku tgh try nak get a colleague to cover for me, harap2 dia sudi. InsyaAllah.
HR yg teruk tu punye la hampas tak nak cari locum & diorang punye attitude is like.. 'nasib kau la, kitorang memang tak nak cari locum'. Bodo gila. HR memang ada favouritism, some docs diorang layan cam king esp. yg kerja sementara kat sini from the UK, Ireland, negara2 orang putih lain. Kalau cam kita ni, ish, sangat hampas. Tahi sungguh.

Ni jap lagi nak kena bayar bills bagai, masak & malam karang nak kena packing plak. Harap-harap semuanye ok.

Fu-cuk? Su-cuk? Su-suk?

Dilemma aku hari ni sebelum gi kerja: Apakah maknanye Fu-cuk, Sucuk, Susuk?

Fu-cuk: tauhu kering yg orang guna dlm masakan. Aku panggil daun-putih-dlm-sup. Rasa cam tauhu, not surprisingly. Ramai org suka, but not my favourite lah. Kat sebelah ni gambar si fu-cuk ni. (Terpaksa bubuh dash in the word coz if u google it, u'll find some offensive sites with that word... hubby pon masa baca ni dia like.. 'Why did u have to put the word in ur title?')

Susuk: menda yg bubuh kat kulit oleh pengamal ilmu hitam sebagai daya penarik, kasi lawa sentiasa, anti-aging. E.g. berlian, duri2, etc. Haram in Islam. Ini membawa kepada persoalan.. how about Botox, silicon injections, those anti-aging skin care, face lifts, etc.. haram ke halal? Ingredients hafta be halal for a Muslim to use, but how about the idea & principle behind it?

Sucuk: haaaaa... tau apa menda ni? Ni dalam gambar kat bawah ni. Harga dalam aussie dollar. Masa baca the name kat kedai daging halal hari tu aku cam tercarik2 la menda daun putih tu. Aku cam terfikir.. apsal ada si daun ni among all the cured meat kat situ. Pas tu aku tanya la pekedai tu & dia kasi rasa. Ooooo... some sort of daging rupanye.. dia kata beef. Its a Turkish cured beef, mainly used dlm masakan something, boleh jugak makan raw tapi kurang sedap.
Apa aku & hubby buat pagi tadi with this?
I made pizzas guna Mr. Turbo (with some Lebanese white bread) & hubby buat dia nyer scrambled eggs with sucuk. Pizza tu kekurangan bahan, takde mushrooms, feta cheese, pineapple. Aku bubuh tomato paste, tomato sauce, mixed herbs, carrots, sucuk/ salami/ corned silverside, cheese. Pizza tu utk buat bekal kerja jap lagi & for hubby to eat dinner. The scrambled eggs dah abis tadi lagi, tak sempat amik gambar.

Penantianku berakhir hari ini =)

Hari ni hari kedua hubby tak gi kerja. Alhamdulillah, he had better sleep than the night before. Tido on the recliner. Dah 2 malam dia tak bleh tido flat, kalau tak jadi apnoea!
Aku plak dah 2 mlm susah tido. Asik terjaga every other hour. Bila bangun telinga sakit, tekak sakit, sumer sumbat.
Terpaksa cancel mlm ni nyer plan nak gi Ladies Night dgn TTM & Ly. Rugi.. rugi..
Dah bergelen-gelen air aku minum ni, so harap esok pagi ok sket. Esok, Ahad & Isnin kerja arvo shift (YUCKS!).

Tengah hari tadi ikut hubby gi solat Jumaat kat Clayton. Ingatkan kat Bedoe Mosque, rupenye kat Monash Sports Centre. Sementara tu aku gi la rayau menjana tenaga di sekeliling Monash Uni campus. Walaupon dalam hati ni rasa resah-gelisah, badan rasa tak sedap, jalan jugak sambil amik2 gambar. Sebabnye, sanggup tunggu hubby abis nak gi amik kereta kat workshop nanti. Hampas je kena call diorang pagi tadi tanya status of the car, bukan diorang nak call.
Aku mmg dari dulu menda2 yg hal2 kereta ni, either the car itself or the workshop or the service memang aku akan rasa cam nak demam & gunda-gulana je. Sama feeling cam hal-hal berkaitan dgn airplanes & the airports.

Masa sampai kat workshop tu, kami disambut oleh some very friendly workers. Aku sangat gumbira bila diorang brought my car to me. Waaahh, diorang siap basuh + polish lagi tu.. kilatnyeeee. Sampai kena marah dgn hubby coz aku menggedik kat situ terkinja-kinja bila dapat kereta. Kena check dulu baru bayar insurance excess, pas tu baru la nak gedik mana pon, PAHAM!! Ini translation apa dia ckp kat aku. Hehehehhee.

Dalam hati ni rasa cam tak sedap hati je masa check kereta tu. Ye.. betul, ada calar kat my tinted window.. kat front passenger & back right side. And the plastic side panel tu still blom ganti lagi, as informed by the person. Arrgghhh.. tension aku. Kami kasitau kat manager tu pasal calar tu. Dia amik balik kereta bawak ke hujung sana nak polish guna glass polish, tapi jadi lagi teruk. Adoh! Aku dah buat muka tension kat situ.
Aku bersyukur la jugak coz diorang berusaha nak ganti the whole windows (better be with the tinted bit as well!!). They made a few calls so that next week their people could come to my work place or the house to fix it, which is kinda convenient.
Ni maknanye kereta aku ni akan dirobek 3 kali lagi, pada tarikh yg berlainan: window + tint, the plastic panels, 6-month service. Arrgghhh tension.. tension!!
Nampaknye next week hafta mintak tolong hubby to look after the fixing since I'll be somewhere else. Harap-harap the tint ada skali. Tension aku bila memikirkan hal kereta ni. Sampai tak tenteram drive balik rumah tadi. Gegar-gegar je aku.

Huhuuu... harap-harap everything is well after this.. tak sanggup aku menghadapi sakit otak pasal kereta lagi.
