Hujan di bulan October

Semangat gila aku buat laundry sampai 2,3 round. Memang la 2,3 round sebab kena la asingkan baju berwarna, kain2 kaler putih, kain2 tebal berbulu cam sweater/towels, kain2 yg gentle seperti tudung. OCD tak?
Seronok sebab pagi2 panas. Tapi kusangka, harapkan panas sampai
ke petang, memang betul-betul hujan di tengah hari. Frust betul! Terpaksa la angkut sumer tu & jemur kat depan heater.

Nuthing much done selain mengusha internet. Made some pannacotta tapi pasal aku bubuh sket sgt gelatine jadi cair cam custard punye consistency. Seb baik sedap.

Went to help out with the AMC mock exam kat spital tadi. Aku jadi examiner la plak. Medical students jadi roleplayers. Dulu masa aku student dulu aku la yg jadi roleplayer utk AMC & RACGP exams. Terperasan bagus plak aku jadi examiner tadi. Haha. Cam tu la nasib the internationally grads docs kena amik exam yg standard oleh Aussie gov. The written exams dia susah gila, yg osce boleh la tahan mencabar jugak. Cam tu la, Aussie nak standardize knowledge & professionalism docs kat sini. Tapi the training posts + wellfare tak plak jaga. Kesian diorang, ada yg kat negara masing2
cardiothoracic surgeon, paeds neuro specialist, gastroenterologist, etc. Sampai kat sini, pasal tight regulation + takde peluang + ditekan2 lagi oleh Aussie government & workplace, maka terpaksa kerja kat ED saja or jadi GP or jadi psychiatrist. Dah la terpaksa face all the isolation, racism, bullies, etc kat negara org. Pas tu kena tukar change lots in order to work untuk mencari sesuap nasi.

The husband worked as a taxi driver in Melbourne city & sanggup stay in Melbourne looking after the kids, while letting the wife work in ED in a rural hospital. The husband was a cardiologist back in their country. She went back & forth between Melbourne city & the rural hospital masa dia punya days off yg tak panjang tu, which amik 250km pegi & 250km balik. And dia takde kereta masa tu, kalau tak silap aku. I knew her when I was doing my surgical rotation there. Kesian sgt coz masa dia kerja situ the hubby had a heart attack & tak dpt kerja for while sebab kena undergo bypass.

Aku bersyukur aku tak perlu go thru that pathway, tak perlu amik exam AMC sebab aku study kat Monash University dulu. Insaf kejap aku. The road that I'm going thru is challenging, but there are others who are facing it harder than what I'm going thru.

"Ya Allah, berilah kami kekuatan untuk menghadapi hari-hari ini, Ya Allah. Kepada Engkaulah kami bermohon & kepada Engkaulah kami kembali, Ya Allah."
